MAY. Flower Garden.-IWgate geraniums; transplant perennials and herbaceous plants : take up bulbs. . Kitchen Garien.—Vay attention to drying
onions. Sow cabbage, small salads, turnips > onions early; house potatoes, carrots, parsnips, beetroot, &c. Orchard.— Prune and transplant deciduous fruit trees. Field.— Sow wheat. For wheat sowing, in this month, on good land, from one bushel to one and a half will be quite sufficient, unless the ground has been very recently broken up, in this case one bushel and three-fourths will be the proper quantity.
