It is hereby notified for general information that consequent to the abolition of National Security Tax, amounts of salaries and wages derived in respect of any period after the 20th April, 1947, will be subject to Social Security charge only. This, in effect, reduces the rate of wages tax deductible to Id in evpry thirteen and one-third pence (1/6 in £).
