Fertiliser for Farmers

The Waihi Committee of he Tauranga Primary Production Committee has been receiving numerous inquiries regarding appeals for fertiliser in cases of anomaly or hardship. The whole question of fertiliser rationing for the 1945-46 season will be considered by the National Council of Primary Production on May 18, states the secretaryorganiser/ Mr McKinney. For several years past there has been an opportunity for those whose allocation was below normal to appeal in April but it is not yet known whether this course will be adopted this year or not. Deliveries cf fertiliser are at present very far behind, mainly because of shortage oi rolling stock.
