WAIHI GOLF CLUB
CLUB CUP COMPETITION COMMENCED DRAW FOR TO-MORROW Unfavourable weather conditions prevailed for the opening round of the club cup competition on the Waihi Golf Club’s links last Saturday and many members did not brave the elements. Those who did play found competition for the cup points very keen and resulted in W. Hollis scoring 5 points, A. F. Lowrie 3 and H. L. Boughton and C. Dillimore 11 each. Medal scores were as follows: W. Hollis, 81, 13, 68; A. F. Lowrie. 97,26, 71; H. L. Boughton, 90,18,72; C. Dillimore, 93, 21, 72; W. E. Ludwig, 81,8,73; F. E. Hunt, 88, 14, 74; A. J. Dean, 84, 9, 75; T. Moralee, 95, 20, 75; E. Dunstan, 97, 21, 76; C. R. Tilly, 87, 9, 78; C. E. Hollis, 80, 0, 80; R. A. Dibble, 116, 28, 88.
