Borough Water Shortage Because of the dry season, residents of Waihi are asked to be as sparing as possible in the use of water, and to see that they have no leaking taps. Use of fixed hoses within the borough is forbidden, and hoses may be used only when they are held in the hands of the persons using them. Notice to this effect is given by the town clerk, Mr F. M. Murray, in an advertisement that appeal's on the opposite page.
