PROBLEM FOR COMMITTEE MONEY FQR PATRIOTIC FUND “That while we deplore the necessity for taxation to find patriotic funds it is our opinion, after a wide and long experience, that the only equitable and successful way to raise these funds is by taxation of all,” states a remit forwarded from the Te Aroha inter-zone Patriotic Committee to the secretary of Zbne E (Hamilton) urging that patriotic funds be collected by taxation. “In support of this remit,” continued His Worship the Mayor, Mr L.
