Broken Bottle in Baths

A broken bottle, evidently thrown in from the street, was discovered at the bottom of the Fitzroy School baths when they were emptied for cleaning recently. The baths have been kept filled during the winter for E.P.S. purposes and the cleaning was to prepare for the swimming season. Luckily the bottle was easily, seen because of its dark brown colour but a white bottle would be hard to distinguish and would be a danger to swimmers. The baths are inspected every morning before use. At the meeting of the Fitzroy School committee the action of the irresponsible bottle-thrower was condemned. “The mentality of the moron who did this diabolical trick must be subhuman,” commented the secretary.
