That issue lies between the right we know and the wrong we do. Right can only be ignored at our peril. Yet we follow too often the wrong. One thing this war has proved, viz., the. utter impossibility of remaining neutral. Two forces opposed to each other either attract us in turn or repel us. While man mocks God by saluting evil we shall have war and all its consequences. Over all human life the moral law holds sway because it comes from God. Only by obedience to that law can man be happy. Man strains the moral laws or openly flouts such when he seeks his own will in place of God’s will. Indifference to this moral lav/ and insistence upon one’s own sweet will brings about chaos such as is at present. After war reconstruction will mean a return to moral law and the rule of God, else the woi'ld cannot be saved. What did you do after the war, Daddy? “I lived as God would have me live and I built up a state of peace.
