RIVAL FOR A MINISTER I BALLOT TO DECIDE ISSUE By Telegraph-—Press Association. AUCKLAND. This Day. A group of Labour supporters in the Auckland Suburbs electorate has nominated Mr J. Williams, of Avondale, for selection as official candidate against the nomination of the sitting members since 1926, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, Attorney-General. A ballot. will be held to decide the issue. Mr Williams is secretary of the Auckland Suburbs Labour Representation Committee. He was campaign secretary for Mr Mason at the last election.
