EFFECT OF THE LIGHTING RESTRICTIONS DRIVERS' UNION CONCERNED By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND. This Day. The executive of the Auckland Drivers' Union last night decided tc call a meeting of the 'bus and servicecar drivers in the Trades Hall next Sunday to consider the effect of th? new lighting restrictions. . The secretary of the union, Mr LG. Matthews, said to-day that drivers of passenger vehicles were seriously considering a suggestion that night driving be abolished in the interests of public safety.
