FEARED LOST AT SEA
FATHER AND SON ON FISHING EXPEDITION DINGHY FOUND ON ROCKS By Association. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. It appears almost certain that Mr David Victor Roberts, aged 46, and his son, Mr John Henry Roberts, aged 24, of South Bay, Kaikoura, were drowned at sea on a fishing trip. They left Kaikoura Beach on Tues-day-evening and on Wednesday tho dinghy from which they were fishing was found washed up on the rocks with a hat, thermos flask and pencil lying nearby. Nothing has been seen of the men or their bodies, but it is thought they must have been drowned.
