The tragedy of a little boy, John Jude Kedzlie, aged 3 years 10 I months, being electrocutiond to death at Thames by putting his hand in a fuse-box connected with the borough electrical supply, has just been investigated at an inquest. In returning a verdict of accidental death, the coroner, Mr W. Bongard, said there appeared to have been a laxity in seeing that the boxes were locked. The padlock was off, the door was open, and the boy put his hand in and met his death. The box was near the school ground and special attention, he said, should have been given it. "This is the second death . due to electrocution in the last two years in this small community of Thames," concluded the coroner.
