A mechanical man, or robot, which smokes new pipes anil “breaks them in” for their owners, attracted a lot of attention from smokers at the last British Industries Fair at Olympia in London. The invention is a great novelty, but probably beyond the means of the ordinary smoker who iinils little difficulty anyhow in breaking in his new pipes for himself. It’s not very difficult.
