“SPORTING WIDOW” TO-NIGHT Another excellent programme has been secured by the management of the Academy Theatre f.pr the weekend, headed by a comedy-drama replete with lively incidents and spiced with side-splitting humour — “The Sporting Widow.” Alison Skipworth is seen as the widow and is supported by Richard Bennett. Geox-ge Raft and Evelyn Knapp. A particularly fine list of featurettes will he found in “Hollywood on Parade” (a short revue), “Up Popped the Ghost” (comedy). “You Try Somebody Else” (screen song), “The Cinesound Revue” and Paramount News. The usual popular matinee will he held at 2.3 0 p.m.
