ALL-AGED STAKE AT WAIHI PLUMPTON
GOOD SPORT PROVIDED
Bad weather conditions did not stop there being a fairly good attendance at the Waihi Coursing Club’s plumpton in Willows road on Saturday afternoon, when the club ran its third event, an all-aged stake. Excellent sport was seen, and some very exciting courses took place, there again being a minimum of killings. Some of the hares, it was shown, are becoming well-versed in the “art” of tricking the dogs, and future successful meetings seem assured. Results are;—
