INTEREST ON LOANS
REDUCTION TO BE MADE FROM MAY IST STATEMENT BY PREMIER By Telegraph—Press association Y7ELLINGTON. this day. As from May Ist next there will be a reduction in the rates of interest charged on loans made by Rural Intermediate Credit Associations. This announcement was made by the Prime Minister, Hon. G. W. Forbes, yesterday. The reduction will apply to loans already in existence as well as to loans granted after the beginning of next month.
