WAIHI COMPANYIS PROGRESS REPORT ' RECENT DEVELOPMENTS The following information bearing on recent development work in the Waihi mine has been cabled to the company’s London office:— No. 3 Level—North branch of Martha lode: Eastward this has junctioned with the Martha lode at 137 feet.

No. 4 Level —At 2SO feet west of No. 2 shaft north-west crosscut we are crosscutting north-west and at 66 feet have intersected the Martha lode. The width is 25 feet and the assay value 11/- per ton. Nq. 11 Level: Drivipg west qf Power crosscut the next 16 feet is qrg of very good grade. The width iii about 5 feet.
