LOW GRADE ORE TREATMENT AT THAMES KURANUI-GOLDEN HILLS CO. Three shifts are now at work on the Kuranui-Golden Hills, Ltd.’s low-grade ore treatment plant at Thames and material is being put through continuously, though the machinery is not yet working to anything like its full capacity. When operations are in full swing shortly more men will be engaged to keep (lie mills'going. The'machinery'and plant so far have given every ’satisfaction.

There will be no attempt to seek out rich patches of ore, blit the material will be put through as it conies (o the feeder, and the initial returns are eagerly awaited in local rnipihg circles. It is recognised that success for this venture will have a most important influence op the .development of the extensive low-grade ores of the Thames goldfield.—Thames Stpr.
