“SHOW OF SHOWS”—A GREAT PRODUCTION "Show of. Shows,” the Warner Bros, and Vilaphonc super-revue in te'ehnicolour, which had its initial local showing at the Academy Theatre lasi evening, lives up to the extravagant claims made for it by the producers. It is not only in the staggering number of stars of stage and screen in the cast, nor in the half a thousand supporting people.

This programme will bo repeated to-night and to-morrow night and at a matinee tomorrow afternoon at 3.15. “The Storm,” a great story of the snow country, comes on Thursday and Friday. Patrons should note that there will be no pictures on Saturday next (Anzac Day). Friday will therefore be the popular night out.
