CALCUTTA, October 6, Special cables from the London Press throughout India predict a sensational move by the Labour Government towards India. Rumours state that a round-table conference with the extremist leaders has been proposed and also that Captain Wedgwood Benn, Secretary of State for India, will visit India and establish contact between the Nationalists and Englishmen. One correspondent declares that Cabinet is said to be determined to grant India Dominion status within a period to be defined by statute.
