The Blackball miners are to meet to-day to discuss the deadlock due to some of the mine employees remaining out of the union. The mine was idle again yesterday. REEFTON, this day. The trouble on the Reefton coalfield came to a head yesterday when a party of tributers refused to join the union. A stop work meeting of miners decided not to resume until the tributers complied’ with the union’s request. There will be no work to-day.
