DAMAGE TO FOOTPATHS BY CATTLE
Sir, Some time ago there was much uneasiness at the very bad state of the Mataura road and Smith Street footpaths, brought into disrepair by driving catlte on Same, and after many requests to the Waihi. Borough Connell that body deemed it advisable to move in the matter. Now, unfortunately, the same’ old cattle are being driven over the same old footpaths, which are rapidly going back to the same old dilapidate* state. Surely if those who are responsible have any thought for those wl*. reside in this end of the town they will take notice and acfc forthwith.—l am, etc., RATEPAYER..
