WAIHI COMPANY’S MONTHLY RETURN FINAL CLEAN-UP FOR 1927 For- the period ended December 31st, comprising 28 crushing days, the Waihi Gold Mining Company crushed and treated 22,295 tons o£ ore for a return of 7212 fine ounces of gold and 56,331 line ounces of silver. The ore handled included 2594 tons mined from the Grand junction area, which yielded 850 ounces of gold and 3271 ounces of silver. __ The following information on boring operations has been cabled to the company’s London office:—No. 3 diamond drill liple is stopped at <598 feet. At 548 feet there is quartz 3 feet wide, assaying 4/9 per ton, and at 562 feet I foot wide, assaying 7/6 per ton,
