THE PREMIER'S TOUR

SPEECHES IN WAIKATO DISTRICT

The Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates, who completed last night a brief tour of the Waikato, arrived by special train at Te Aroha yesterday afternoon. The town was bedecked with gaily coloured bunting, and flags flew from all the public and many of the business buildings. At the Theatre Royal, which was packed to the doors, Mr Coates was enthusiastically received, and at the close of his address was lustily cheered. Prom Te Aroha the Prime Minister went to Cambridge, where he addressed a crowded audience. The same evening he gave another address at Te Awamutu to a packed house. Prior to going to Te Aroha the Prime Minister spoke at Frank ton Junction.
