GREEK ULTIMATUM

ACCEPTED BY BULGARIA THE. FRONTIER CROSSED FIVE SENTINELS KILLED Reuter’s Telegrams. LONDON, October 22. The Daily Express Athens correspondent says that Bulgaria has accepted the Greek ultimatum. A semi-official statement from Sofia reports that a detachment of Greeks, with artillery, entered Bulgarian territory and attacked Bulgarian sentinels, fire of whom were killed. Other Bulgarian soldiers retired, and the Greeks occupied three posts. The Bulgarian Cabinet is protesting to the League of Nations against the Greek invasion, and appealing to Allied Government for permission to mobilise troops in defence of their territory. The statement also declares that a Greek soldier fired at a Bulgarian sentry, who killed his assailant. The fusillade followed.
