The bandits drew up in a closed car just as the bank car wa s leaving the mini, covering the bank driver and gi.mrc. with shotguns and revolvers. The robbers then transferred he money to their own car. The mint guards opened fire, and the bandits, daringy standing at the curb, fired fusillade after fusillade, breaking the mint windows and riddling the doors. The employees inside the mint rushed to the windows and opened fire in support of the guards. Suddenly the bandits sped away amid a hail of shots which wounded the car driver and one of the guards.
