ECLIPSE OF THE SUN
INVESTIGATION OP EINSTEIN THEORY. PLATES DEVELOPED. Australian and N.Z, Cable. SYDNEY, this day. Tho Lick Observatory expedition to Wallal has developed its plhtea Tor investigation of the Einstein Theory; they are considered very satisfactory, though the preliminary announcement is not expected for some weeks. Professor Begg, of Otago, who was on the totality zone in Queensland, expects good results from the eclipse observations, but thinks the stars nearer tho sun’s edge may have boon recorded less clearly in consequence of the dimming effect of the extraordinary bright corona.
