MEN REJECT EMPLOYERS’ PROPOSALS Australian and N.Z. Cable. SYDNEY, this day. A special meeting of the Council of the Coalminers’ Federation rejected the employers' proposals, which include a reduction of wages by 33 1 3 per cent., and decided to stand behind the unions own claims already placed before the tribunal.
