The town is lavishly decorated, and the Prince wa s accorded an enthusiastic; reception by the groat c-rowds lining the streets on route to the Omiya Palace, where ho resides for a week, In the afternoon the Prince visited and placed wreaths on the Mausoleum of the late Emperor in the presence of high dignitaries. At night there was a great lantern procession.
