Tim rebels have lied ( to the hills or passed through the hue. Spasmodic murders and looting do not .affect the main issue, bur are incrcttsttig alarm and prevent’Ug the restoration ol public confidence. It wits officially stated to-day that the special police lulled twenty rebels. The Suffblk Regiment is establishing signal stations.
