FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR JOHN STOREY. AN IMPRESSIVE CEREMONY. (Australian and K.Z. Cablo., SYDNEY, me flay. The route of the funeral of the lato Prime Minister of New South "Wales. Special trams conveyed th'oso marching to the cathedral, where the body was lying in State. It was one of tlie most representative fun era Ik ever held in the Stale.

UNPLEASANT FLAG INCTDKNT.

SVDNEV, This Hay. When the flags at the Town Hall were hoisted at half-mast to mark the death of the State Premier. Mr J. Storey, the Union Jack flew above the Australian flag. The Lord Mayor (Mr Lambert) issued an order that the Australian flag should be placed above the Union Jack, and th's wan done. Tho incident caused' much, adverse comment.
