SVDNEV, This Hay. When the flags at the Town Hall were hoisted at half-mast to mark the death of the State Premier. Mr J. Storey, the Union Jack flew above the Australian flag. The Lord Mayor (Mr Lambert) issued an order that the Australian flag should be placed above the Union Jack, and th's wan done. Tho incident caused' much, adverse comment.
