FORMATION UsTS’EM~ ZEALAND. (By Telegraph. —Presi Association.) DUNEDIN. Data day. A meeting of the proprietors of tho Otago and Southland country newspapers has been hod with the object'of extending tho movement Initiated ’by s the Southland country newspaper proprietor in trade, political, and industrial directions. There was a very representative attendance. It was decided to form a New* Zealand Cbuntry Press Association on similar linos to that in New South Wak*. Mr de la Perrille (Wintou Record) was appointed president, and Mr Fisher (Oltautau Standard) teoretary. The president and secretary were authorised to communicate with the country newspapers . throughout the Dominion inviting support }nd Co-ojloration. Much enthusiasm was displayed in connection with tho project.
