BRITISH OPERATIONS ONLY SLIGHT RESISTANCE WARSHIPS REPLY TO SNIPERS. (Beuter's Telegrams.) (Received July 10, 8 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. A Constantinople message received to-day states that British naval forces, occupied Moundania and Ghemlik on July 6th, with only slight and ineffective opposition.', A small force of 627 men reconnoitred eastward of the Gulf of Ismid, and cleared the region. Snipers on the Beikos heights opened fire on the battleship Iron Duke with machine guns, nnd the ship repflieid by shelling the popition. • The process of cleaning up the haunt* of brigands in the vicinity of Constantinople is now commencing. ANOTHER GREEK CAPTURE. (Received July 10, 8 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. . An Athens report states that Groeka have occupied Broussa.
