BREACH OF THE LAW. Tho inspector of Awards said the case was brought to show that tfyere must be no agreement between the employers and employees to accept lower wages than the award granted unless the consent of the Labour Department is obtained thereto. A fine ot £5 ou one charge and £lO on the other was imposed.
