He stated that ho had been forced to resign tho temporary curacy on a demand made by the vestry in consequence of remarks mado in a sermon just before Lent ; in which he spoke strongly on the subject of church reform, urging that tho authorities were not dealing with the matter adequately, and saying that they should take the laity into their confidence.
