The Sinn Fein leaders are at white heat indignation ov<cr Lord French’s charges of complicity in the murder of Mr MacOiu-tain, Lord Mayor of Cork. Dublin Castle has issued a. statement that the Daily Express interview was unauthorised, and misrepresents the conversation.
The Daily Express iltiblisbed an interview with Lord French, who declared that Si.iui Feinevs executed Mr Maccurtala because he refused, as a brigadier of the Irish Volunteers, to sigh the death 'warrant of a certain man condemned to die. This man was later foiled shot outside Limerick.
THE DEMONSTRATION IN WASHINGTON. LEAFLETS FROM AEROPLANES. (Received April 9, 8 a.m.-) WASHINGTON, April 7. On being driven away from the front of the British Embassy, the women picketers utilised an aeroplane to send 'dow’h leaflets diauouncing England’s-ac-tions in Ireland.
