DEATH OF OLD THAMES

RESIDENT

(Special to the Daily Telegraph.) THAMES, this day.

The death has occurred of Mr James Inglls, a very well-known resident of the goldfields, who came here as a. youth, over forty years ago. Deceased worked as a battery hand for many years, later going to Wall! at the time of dry crushing, and subsequently returning to Thames. He was a well-known r ile shot, carrying off prizes at Auckland, He was a past president of the Bowling and Jockey Clubs, and Postmaster of the Lodge of Light, Freemasons.
