RECLASSIFICATION GRIEVANCE. A THAMES RESOLUTION. • By Telegraph.—Press Association.) THAMES, this day. At a large meeting of the Thames section of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association, held last night, it was resolved: ‘That this meeting deplores the fact that no serious attempt appears to have been made to re-classify experienced and qualified officers below the fifth clhss; also, that many responsible positions in the sixth class have not been regraded in accordance with the-value and responsibility of the work.” It was decided to support the executive in asking for payment for the outstanding portion of the war bonus due last year, also favouring an amendment oif the existing schedule enabling a further bonus of 15 per cent to be paid on all salaries. The opinion was against n conference until the return of Sir Joseph Ward, Postmaster-General.
