LIVING IN A TENT. (Special to the Daily Telegraph.) AUCKLAND, this day. Mr Banks (chairman or the Education Board) reports that Whakatane .s the fastest-growing town in the Dominion. Discussing this report, the hcadmaste.--at Whakatane told the School Commit tee on Monday evening that he admitted 23 new pupils last week. The hous ing problem is a serious one, and one teacher is living in a tent. Another teacher has been six months trying t.) got permanent ilodgings, and is stilt homleoss.
