WELLINGTON LIBEL CASE

WELLINGTON, this day., Mr. Justice Chapman yesterday gave judgment on an application by plaintiffs for special juries in the cases McLean and others v. tho New Zealand Times, and tho same v. tho Wellington Publishing Company, both being actions for £2OOO damages for alleged libel. His Honour said he did not think that any difficulty was likely to arise out of tho business aspect of the case which could not be dealt with by a common jury, and he dismissed the application.
