Yesterday a motor cur on. its way from I'aeroii to Wailii, and driven by a Wailii roiidont, eamo into collision with a bourse and trap on the AYaikino sido of tlio tunnel. Fearing danger, the driver of the trap threw down the reins and jumped out, and before the. man who was with him got hold of the reins tlio horso swerved in the direction of tlio ear, as it wan passing', causing a collision, which resulted in some damage to the latter. Thu hor.se and trap were uninjured, t-iivo for the breakage of a. briicliing strap. The car, which was goimg nlowly, nulled up immediately after the accident, only proceeding a few foot.
