Monthly Meeting Tho uliual monthly meeting of the Waihi Hospital Trustees was held last evening in the Board-room at-tlie institution. Newtli), Mr. Donaldson was voted to the chair. Government Subsidy.—The National Bank advised receipt, and the Treasury notified remittance, of the sum of £93 6s Id, being amount of subsidy on £77. Los Id.—Received. Additions to Hospital.—A letter was received from W. H. Herrics, M.P., intimating that, he would have pleasure in supporting tho trustees' application in connection with the matter of a voto lor additions to the hospital building, and would endeavour to get a sum placed, on the Estimates for that purpose.— Received, Hospital Conference Fees.-The secretary of the Waihi Hospital Conference _ wrote forwarding a copy of resolution passed at n meeting of the 'lhanies and Waihi Hospital Conference, a'i follows" That the two Conferences reciprocate in regard to their respective members receiving treatment at the Waihi and Thames hospitals at the reduced scale, viz,, 14s per week for members and their wives .aml 7s per week for members of families up to the age of 16 years,"—ln reply to the chairman, the, secretary (Air. Septic Tank.—ln connection with the condition of the. septic tank it was resolved, on the motion of Mr. Evans, that steps be taken imemdiatelv to attend to the matter. It was also resolved, on the motion of Mr. Poster, that the recommendations contained in Dr. Frengley's report, re alterations to existing septic tank, be given effect to, the work to be carried out under the mpervision of the chairman (Mr, Newth) and Mr. Evans. Operating Theatre.—Correspondence was read from the Inspector-General in connections with t the proposed alterations andj additions to the operating theatre, aifd also from Mr. G. W.
