(Received September 21,1.10 a.m.) JiOXDON, September 23. Mr Richard Hull's form of ballot asks whether the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants are prepared to strike at a given time, in order to secure representation ol the Society's officials, and to negotiate lor a national programme. Mr. Bell, speaking at Cardiff, reiterated that even if the ballot were favourable to a strike, another effort would he made to peacefully secure recognition of the societv. Mr. C. Jlel jaren, in a speech to his constituents, supported recognition of the Railway Servants' Societv, on the ground thai organised labour bad benefited all parties,
