Pr«i Auoeiition.—CopjriiM, London, October 14, M r Asqdiih, Chancellor of the Exchequer, spooking at L'.dybaok ia giving audience to a deputation of woman suffragists, said that the probable results, whother for good or evil, if the enfranchisement of wcrnen was granted, were touch exaggerated, but he did not beliove that tho majority of women desired the right to vote, and ho was unable to withdraw his opposition to the moasuro.
