Tho postmaster at Chmtelmrch, Mr- Mcßoth, had cornmi'ted himself to the statement that Captain Soddon hod nover been seen in the Christehnrch Post-Office, but on witness's suggestion Mr Mcßeth had qualified tho sta'qment, Mr Mcßeth had not agosd lnrinory. Willis hud good memory, Tho Commission ruled that betweon 10 o,m, and 1 p.m. to-morrow Messrs Willis and paity be given facilities at the Treasury to search the vouchers in 1903-4 made out in favour of R. J. Sneddon.
