By Telegraph.—Press Association, Hastings, this day, Tho woalhor was splendid oarly this morning. Thero were some splendid gallops, Sonltina and Faro galloped a roand. Thero was a splendid gallop between Opeceta, Polantbus, Assaycr and Reservoir over seven furlongs in good time, Operota showing the way. Monarch did a pleasing gallop once round. i

Flower Girl bad Moral settled at tho ond of five furlongs. Diildy finißhod strong over four furlongs. Mataiki and Ruanui were companions over fivo furlongs. Idea accounted for Morriwi ovor four furlongs. Lurcher, Marajuro and Needlework were schooled over four flights, Needlework finishing in front. ■ Starshoot and Watt's English colt galloped fivo furlongs at a strong gait, the former showing a pair of heels to his companion. Gold Seal beat Scotch Reel ovor a similar journey. Waipunehu, Meeca and Lord Rosohery ran fivo furlongs in good time, Meeca having a slight advantage, Hipporofla aCoounted for Piv.bable by two lengths, which was the best gallop of tho morning over six furlongs, Mahutonga and Mystification ran a mile, tho formir holding his companion safe. < Tawii, Inspan and Cavill wont a miio together. i Others did slow work.
