British Committee to Visit Colonies Labour Laws anil Trade Press Association.—Copyright, London, September 1 • Tub Labour Representation Committoo is discussing a proposal, (or consideration at another meeting in October, for sending to Australasia and Cana Ja, and probably toSouth Africa, a deputation representing all organised labour in tho United Kingdom. Tho proposals aro intended to bring the empire's labour foreos into closer touch, and to discuss tho fiscal quostion, with the view of an understanding as to Labour's attitode towards tho Government proposals at tho next, election and of supporting the Colonial labour legislation experiments, which it is hoped tbo Imperial labour policy will evolve, The serious quostion is itom what sourco to provide the cost of the deputation if it is decided upon. Mr Ramsay McDonald, secretary to tbo representative committee, interviewed, said: "We do not propose to interfero with international arrangements or tbe colonics' fiscal matters, but are anxious that they should not throw their weight in favour of a movement which tho Homo Labour Party oppose."
