Japanese Successes
' .London, August 17 An official report received at Tokio states that early on the 14th a battalion of Russian infantry and two sotnias of cavalry, with eight . field-pieces and six quick-firers, attacked Eishihlipu, north of Ohangtu, bat were immediately re. pulsed, losing 35, the Japmese having one casualty. Simultaneously the Russians attacked a point eight miles north- ; west of Changtu, but were repulsed, leaving ten killed and wounded. - Reported Russian Victory ;■. St Petersburg, Aug 17.
