At a well-attended meeting of the Agricultural nnd Pastoral Society, delegates from the Racing Club were prerent, and objected to the terms of lease of the Kensington Park, drafted for their acceptance, as they wished to have ttaft exclusive right to use the racing track, but were willing to agree only verbally to that effect, claiming that to sign a deed would virtually bo handing over the park to tli9 Racing Clnb. A deadlock ensued, the Club not accepting the terms, and feeling runs high.
