A Sensational Auckland Case
fly Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, this day. A. butcher's rider-out, Jamos W. Hunter, was charged to-day with etaling J-02 from E. and W. Hellaby, his employers, and obtaining meat to the value of A'2(j by falso pretences. Tho evidence was that it was part of accused's duty to collect nionoy and be had failed to account for the amount named. Ho had also coutiui'od ta bring in ordora for meat which nivor reached tho persons supposed to Jftve ordered it, Accusod admitted tho correctness of tho charges, aud was committed to tho Supremo Court for sentence.
